Gabriela Horikawa is an artist based in Flanders, New Jersey. Having initially pursued studies in interior design, it was during living abroad in Italy that she encountered the works of Nicolas de Stael and fell in love with impasto, thick paint, and palette knives. Now her work is focused on blurring the line between abstraction and figuration, exploring personal experiences and dream like spaces.

Gabriela has been painting and exhibiting for over 12 years, her work is part of the ESKFF permanent collection, and also held in private collections in England, Italy, France, Philippines, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, Peru, and USA
